WHAT IS A GROUND SUPPORT COORDINATOR?
The purpose of a Ground Support Coordinator (GSC) is to provide clients—particularly those lacking a support system from family, friends and rescues—with hands-on help in the field. The GSC takes strategic direction from the Case Manager (CM), but works independently on the assigned tasks. Ideally, the GSC would teach owners and other volunteers how these tasks are done so they can perform them on their own.
